Is the fact that things lasts much shorter nowadays really so bad ?

Is the fact that things lasts much shorter nowadays really so bad ?
I think that it isn't strictly true. However faster consumption of things causes that we pollute the environment, we use environmental resources for the production of new items. Of course, to take advantage of the novelty we have to spend money But thanks to that we can use more and more new technological solutions. The technological progress is so fast now that the TV or computer must have the right software to be able to use the program. So it is not important that we can fix it, it will not give us anything, there must be for example: more memory or faster processor and therefore we are forced to buy a new one. This all results in the development of technology and maybe improve our comfort. Although we do not know what it will take us to...

Why do people believe in supernatural things like magic, astrology, ghosts if they have science ?

Why do people believe in supernatural things like magic, astrology, ghosts if they have science?

People have believed in supernatural things for ages so they have given their views but due to science this is not as common as it used to be. I think that it depends on someone today. First of all it can be result from the desire for certainty and control over life. The society is not sure of the future, feels fear, so it tries to get to know or predict although it is part of it. The second reason is the fascination with these things. Most young people have contact with science-fiction books or movies and just consider it interesting.

Who or what is blame for obesity in today's world?

Who or what is blame for obesity in today's world?

Over 2.2 billion people in the world are struggling with overweight or obesity so it is about 30 percent of the population. The largest plague of childhood obesity occurs in countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom. I think that this problem is caused mainly by too easy access to unhealthy food. On television, we still see ads encouraging new chocolate. In addition to supermarkets there are also fast food restaurants. In the majority of places we can meet restuarants with fatty foods that only offer fries, kebabs or cole that is the main factor of people's obesity. On the other hand there are not many places that sell really healthy meals.

Should people spend money on space exploration?

Should people spend money on space exploration?

I am sure that we as a human race must spend money on space exploration. The community has been discovering new things for centuries through long-term research, sometimes even expensive. People should broaden their horizons, we can not be closed to new knowledge. It is necessary, if we want to improve the situation of our life on Earth, we should simply get to know the world around us. Maybe there is something there that will help hungry or sick people. The second reason is that our planet becomes more contaminated and dangerous every day. Maybe the day will come when they can not live here. In this case, we must try to be independent and familiar with the space.

New Year's Eve in the mountains

You have to live this kind of day

The New Year's Eve is approaching and everyone knows that. It is a day that says goodbye to old stories and welcomes new ones. Each of us wants to spend it in an unusual way. There are many options, but my favourite is a trip to the mountains.

I think it is something else so New Year's Eve in the mountains will definitely be an unforgettable event. What attractions are waiting for us? There is a lot of them. More than in a club or house. Except for walking and mountain hiking, it is also worth organizing a common bonfire, a sleigh ride in a mountain sledge with torches, playing on mountain slopes, integrating on the ice, going to the thermal baths or aquapark. With the youngest you can also go on a sled.

For people who want to spend the day more actively than just dancing or talking I recommend spending the New Year's Eve on the slopes! All skiing lovers have the opportunity to welcome the New Year by going on prepared routes. Illuminated slopes, dances and songs, bars and restaurants open all night will make the farewell of the Old Year unique!

Santa Claus' village

Santa Claus' village

Lapland is a place known for the legend of Saint Nicholas. I think most of us know Santa Claus isn't real. But it doesn't mean we don't have to see this place.

  • Where is it?

Lapland is the largest and northernmost region of Finland
Lapland borders the region of Northern Ostrobothniain the south. It also borders the Gulf of BothniaNorrbotten County in SwedenFinnmark County and Troms County in Norway, and Murmansk Oblast and the Republic of Karelia in Russia

The main headquarters of Saint Nicholas is located in Rovaniemi. Rovaniemi is the capital of Lapland in the north of Finland and just below the Arctic Circle. Santa Claus' village is located 8 km from the city center. This village look like a farm and  there is a wonderful and magical atmosphere.

  • Post of Santa Claus

To the address: Tähtikuja 1, Rovaniemi 96930 Arctic Circle in Lapland comes to over half a million letters a year. The largest amount of letters comes from the United Kingdom , China and Japan. There are elves, not ordinary officials. When you are there you can also send a letter straight from this place.

  • Office of Santa Claus

This is the place where you can meet with Santa Claus. Remember you don't have to wait for the winter. He also receives guests at other seasons of the year. Unfortunately if you want to take a photo with him you will pay for it. But meeting and talking with him are free.

  • A ride around the village

Apart above attractions you can ride on a snowmobile or a team of reindeer or husky dogs. You can race around dark wintery forests and across frozen lakes lit only by your headlight beams. During this ride you will see the amazing views but you should also keep a lookout for the magical Northern Lights overhead as you ride. The Northern Lights are one of nature's most spectacular phenomenons and Lapland is the perfect destination to witness the magic for yourself. On average the Aurora Borealis appear in the sky around 200 times per year.

Air Adventure in Queenstown

Air Adventure in Queenstown

New Zealand is a place on the "side of the world" but this country is really one great dream for every traveler. The most my attention pays the city Queenstown where scenic flights offer an exceptional way to see the beautiful region. You have to visit this place and make balloon flight.

New Zealand may be most known for being the location where the Lord of the Rings movies were filmed, but this lush country has so much more to offer. This is the best known ski resort in New Zealand, located on the South Island. For every sightseer the most important to visit the place is full knowledge of culture through food, traditions and seeing all possible places. One of the more non-traditional ways of seeing a place is taking a hot air balloon ride over the site to see the panoramic view of the place. I'm sure the balloon is one of the things that everyone has to do.

Queenstown is known for its extreme adventure activities and stunning scenery, but it also pays to sit back and see the town from afar on a hot air balloon to see the town’s lakes and surrounding landscapes! This balloon flight over Queenstown offers an exciting experience that you will never forget.

  • What can you see?

We have views of Coronet Peak and The Remarkables ski areas, Mount Aspiring in the Southern Alps and Mount Tutoko in Fiordland National Park. We also see Lake Wakatipu and Kawarau rivers. Some locations used in "The Lord Of The Rings" can also be seen, for example, The Ford of Bruinen, The Pillars Of The Kings. Also visible is Mount Earnslaw, one of the great mountains seen in Isengard. Queenstown's four distinct seasons offer beautiful scenery all year round, so make this your opportunity to get some of the most stunning photographs you will ever take. You can watch the sun come up from a unique viewpoint and experience the feeling of floating above the land and lakes of the Wakatipu. I think that's a very amazing feeling.

  • Any disadvantages?

There are several disadvantages and it’s not really for everyone. First of all, it’s quite expensive, more so than seeing a place on land. Secondly, it usually entails meeting at the spot where the ride commences at early hour (second or third in the morning). Thirdly, you can not have a fear of heights. But most who have gone air balloon rides on their travels say it’s worth every penny, worth the lost sleep, and worth that fear of heights.
